Here on the Hicks Family Farm we believe in growing healthy, sustainable and delicious food. That’s why we decided to raise pastured poultry. The concept behind pastured poultry is that healthy animals make healthy meat. To keep our chickens healthy, we pasture them in mobile pens that allow them to forage, be active and breathe clean air. Is this product organic? Yes our product is raised organically. We feed our chickens organic feed and graze them on organic grass, no chemicals, no nothin. That said, we are not Certified Organic. However, if you ask, I'll show you the bags of organic feed and you can taste the grass in our pasture if you are still concerned.
